Chiming In

I'll spare you the poetry today. After All That Ever Was, I wasn't sure how to write about anything but tragedy and sadness. Life altering moments are what was driving this blog and now I'm trying to make it more like Accidental Miracles or I Am Fickle Cattle. I'm trying to morph my blog into something soothing and not soul shattering. I was hiding behind the poems, hiding behind words that were written decades ago.

It's hard to expose yourself the way I have and not want to hide. I have people that know me chiming in my ears telling me that I should have never written what I wrote. I have tried to share my stories hoping that it would make a difference and have been blocked by some people on social networks. It's discouraging - because I am not spam, I am not obnoxiously trying to hoc my wares, and I struggled to come forward. But there are others who RT (smiles to @rogerpovey and @littleanimation) and re-post, and although my readership has dropped - I am heartened by these actions.

In the meanwhile, I am planning a full body make-over. As some of you may know from Recipe For A Baby and Normal To EatPB, I've been in pain for quite some time and am recently recovered from surgery. This interfered with my normal routine of working out and having spa treatments and getting my nails done, etc., etc., etc. So I don't look like myself. I don't feel like myself. I need to get back to me. Then maybe once I feel like myself again, my husband and I can get back to trying to have a baby. . . well truly, I guess we have been trying since I've recovered, but I promise to put my full effort into it in the coming months :) [He's gonna read this and be super happy, lol - That's right, get ready to have your world rocked little satan - that's my nick-name for his, well, you know]

Another task that must be done; I need to short through my poems and short stories and novels and sort out what I want to publish here. My stories are more horror and science fiction - I tried to write a love story once, ewwww, it sucked so I'll stay away from that one. I won't hide behind them when I post them in the future. I promise to be fully interactive and engaging. And I still have so many FUNNY family stories - I'm sure you'd love to hear those too, like the time my mother and I fought crabs. This one is a gem though, I'll save it for a time I can’t think of anything to write. :)

Thank you for visiting and having some tea and scones with me (opposite of milk and cookies for you military folks), I'll see you again. . .

Tomorrow, Relationship Rally. . .
